I wanted to try and do a more serious and conceptual art oriented piece, so this was my attempt at such a thing.

Heres a aircraft I designed with middle age knight influences, all while trying to give it a nice stylistic and sleek design.

I wanted to try and take the whole Knight VS Dragon thing into a new age and setting, this being the replacement for the knight. The Dragon would be a gargantuan plasma belching flying alien.

Spent a good while on this mostly design wise, also painted it in first, meaning its on of the few pieces Ive done that didn't have linework to start with, here its just to add detail in places not to form the concepts structure.

For the weapon junkies I can just say the thing has:

A quad array of 80mm cannons.

Literally an internal armory containing hundreds of missiles that are feed via a track system.

And the RPL (Rocket Propelled Lance)

Since the dragons hide is literally a thick boney hide its extremely resilient to heat and blasts from explosives and energy weapons, so a more brutal approach is needed hence a large, fast moving pointy object is needed. Though its accuracy relies on the distance its fired from since its maneuverability isn't to great.
